Walkers has partnered with Nando’s, Pizza Express, Yo, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Las Iguanas on a five-strong range of limited-edition flavours inspired by their bestselling dishes.
They are: Yo Katsu Curry, Nando’s Peri-Peri Chicken, GBK Classic Cheeseburger, Las Iguanas Chilli Con Carne and Pizza Express American Hot Pizza.
They have rolled out in single-serve packs (rsp: 69p/25g), grab bags (rsp: 85p/50g) and in five-pack (rsp: £1/5x16g) and 15-pack (rsp: £2.50/15x16g) multipacks.
Each pack features a two-for-one restaurant meal voucher, for which Walkers and the partner restaurants have pushed back the redemption deadline to 3 December amid the current crisis.
Walkers is encouraging shoppers to hold on to the voucher and “help support the restaurants once they re-open”.
Instead of advertising the promotion at present, Walkers has partnered with the Trussell Trust and pledged £1m of support to UK food banks.
