Allied Bakeries has shaken up its management structure and created a main board with functional duties, releasing the commercial team from operational responsibilities.
Alan Murphy, former deputy md at ABN, a sister company in the ABF Group, takes on manufacturing, engineering and distribution including non-multiple van sales. Simon Crosland becomes national accounts director responsible for the sale of bread, rolls and bakery snacks to multiples. Bill Hill has the new role of foodservice director. Ian Dobbie becomes director for the convenience sector and Frances Brindle extends her role as branded marketing director across all brands.
