Frozen south east Asian ready meal brand Kitchen Joy has expanded into starters and sides.
It has added “air fryer-friendly” Krapow Chicken, along with Thai Green Curry Gyoza, Red Curry Spring Rolls and King Prawn Wonton Tom Yum Soup (£2-£2.50).
The dishes are intended to accompany Kitchen Joy’s existing range of curries and noodles.
Meanwhile, Kitchen Joy has bolstered its range of mains (rsp: £2.75/350g) with Vegetable Pad Thai and Prawn Wonton Drunken Noodles.
All six new products have rolled into Tesco freezers.
“Kitchen Joy is all about making the joy of high-quality Thai and south east Asian food accessible to everyone – without the cost of a takeaway or the faff of cooking from scratch,” said Kitchen Joy brand director Christa Bloom-Burrows.
“Now with a wider range of proteins and great-value sides, we can bring that joy to even more consumers and occasions than ever,” Bloom-Burrows added.
The innovations will be backed by a social media and OOH campaign this autumn, as part of a £1.5m brand investment in 2025.
Kitchen Joy made its grocery debut in January, launching a six-strong range of rice and noodle-based dishes into Tesco.
In February, the brand enlisted reality TV star Gemma Collins for a campaign that encouraged shoppers to exchange their takeaway disaster stories for free Kitchen Joy products.
