Berocca is injecting some fizz into the vitamin and mineral supplement market with what it claims is the first soluble tablet to contain guarana.
Berocca Boost is positioned as an effervescent vitamin and mineral tablet that provides consumers with a "natural, but fast-acting mental boost".
Rolling into retailers now, it comes in tubes of 10 and 20 (rsp: £5.99 and £10.99 respectively).
"People have one aim in common to get the most out of the day without resorting to more unhealthy products, which may contain sugar or artificial stimulants," a spokesman said.
"Berocca sales are up 10% year-on-year and we expect sales to grow as we emerge from the quietest period of the year, and the NPD starts to make an impact," he added.
Sales will also benefit from a three-month TV campaign running now until the end of the year.
