Beyond Meat has announced the launch of reformulated chicken-style tenders.
The Beyond Tenders (rsp: £3) now have a “chunkier breaded coating” which the brand said provides a crunchy bite and increased levels of fibre.
The product can be cooked in the oven or air fryer and will be launching into Tesco and Sainsbury’s in January.
“We’re thrilled to be launching Beyond Chicken-Style Tenders into both Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores this January, reaching even more consumers across the UK looking to meet their new-year lifestyle goals,” said Elaine Moffatt, regional sales manager for retail, UK & Ireland at Beyond Meat.
Beyond Meat said the tenders can be used in sandwiches, salads, tacos or with a dip.
“High in protein and convenient, Beyond Chicken-Style Tenders offer a simple, satisfying swap for meat lovers, flexitarians, vegetarians and vegans alike, no sacrifice required,” added Moffatt.
