Biscoff has unveiled festive-shaped biscuits for Christmas in original and chocolate-coated variants.
The biscuits come in three festive designs: reindeer, snowman and Santa. The original biscuits (rsp: £2/200g) are sold in multipacks containing eight twin-packs, while the chocolate-coated biscuits (rsp: £2/123g) come in multipacks of four twin-packs.
The festive treats, which are “ideal for stocking fillers”, will launch exclusively in Tesco from 12 August before rolling out in Asda, Morrisons and Ocado.
“Our new seasonal biscuits are perfect for Christmas parties, family gatherings or simply to provide a pick-me-up on those cold winter days,” said Jo Agnew, marketing director at Biscoff UK.
“Adding seasonal excitement to retail shelves, Christmas lines – like our new biscuits – are always popular, especially as the 25 December draws closer and customers become increasingly tempted by a festive treat.”
The innovations will be backed by PoS materials including gondolas, FSDUs and in-shelf communication.
The launch follows Biscoff’s collaboration with Belgian music festival Tomorrowland in May on a limited-edition espresso-flavoured sandwich biscuit.
Biscoff has enjoyed strong momentum this year. In February, its biscuit sales surged 30% year on year, driven by a viral TikTok trend that saw consumers pair the biscuits with yoghurt to create a “Japanese cheesecake”.
