Bottlegreen has teamed up with Highgrove and The King’s Foundation on a trio of cordials inspired by the plants, flowers and flavours of Highgrove Gardens.
Magnolia & Elderflower, English Rose & Raspberry and Rhubarb & Ginger will launch in Waitrose on 11 October (rsp: £5/500ml).
Magnolia & Elderflower was “a fragrant floral blend of magnolia petals and wild elderflower”, while English Rose & Raspberry contained “ripe British raspberry juice and English rose extract”.
Rhubarb & Ginger was a “delicate blend of British pressed rhubarb juice and ginger extract”.
For each bottle sold, 25p will support the work of The King’s Foundation, which works to build sustainable communities and transform lives via practical education programmes and regeneration projects, many of which take place on site at Highgrove.
“Bottlegreen has been crafting drinks in the Cotswolds for more than 35 years, with nature, botanicals and brilliant flavour at the heart of what we do,” said Scott Bell, marketing director at SHS Drinks. “With Highgrove Gardens just down the road from us, there is a wonderful shared sense of place behind this collection.
“We wanted to create something that genuinely captured that connection, from the flavours themselves right through to the beautiful botanical designs on the bottles.
“The result is three very different cordials that feel unmistakably Bottlegreen, but with something completely new to discover.”
Scott Simpson, group retail and brand director at The King’s Foundation, Highgrove, added: “We are so excited to be partnering with Bottlegreen to bring the flavours of Highgrove Gardens to a new audience.
“As the King’s nature and sustainability charity, at The King’s Foundation we are passionate about protecting our environment, providing access to nature and sharing the magic of Highgrove Gardens with a public audience.
“All Highgrove products are inspired by the gardens, with proceeds going back into the life-changing work of the charity. We are grateful to Bottlegreen for this creative partnership that celebrates the gardens so beautifully.”
It comes after Bottlegreen unveiled a refreshed brand identity, aimed at championing its Cotswolds heritage, earlier this year.
