Budweiser has unveiled a limited-edition can design to mark the Lionesses victory in the UEFA European Women’s Championship.
The collectable beer cans, which carry the strapline ‘Home Again’, are available in participating stores at Sainsbury’s nationwide (rsp: £2/440ml).
“At Budweiser, we celebrate moments that bring people together through sport,” said Jessica McGeorge-Stevens, AB InBev’s global brands director for Europe. “We were delighted to help fans celebrate the Lionesses in 2022, and now as back-to-back champions we’re raising a Bud to them with limited-edition cans to honour their unstoppable spirit and historic victory.”
Cans were gifted to members of the Lionesses team on their arrival back to the UK earlier this week, Budweiser said.
The supplier is also giving away 10 of the cans signed by Fara Williams on social media today (30 July).
Budweiser has been the official beer of the England women’s national football team since 2019.
