Dreamies packs contain six individually wrapped cake bars

American cake bar brand Dreamies has made its UK debut via a distribution tie-up with Worldwide Global Brands.

The treats feature a “light, airy” vanilla sponge with a “creamy, marshmallow-style” filling.

Each 300g pack contains six individually wrapped cakes (rsp: £2.75).

Dreamies have rolled into Aldi’s Special Buys aisle to coincide with the discounter’s annual American Week event, live 22-29 January in 2026.

They will also launch DTC via Amazon and TikTok Shop, with additional retail listings to be announced later this year.

The launch marks Worldwide Global Brands’ first venture into the bakery aisle.

“Working with the UK’s favourite retailers and discounters, we have ambitions to expand the reach of our current product range and launch a number of great new treats across our own label, tertiary and licensed brands, including cereals, baked goods and snacks,” said Catherine Fay, head of commercial at Worldwide Global Brands.

Worldwide Global Brands’ portfolio of products includes Barratt Flumps cereal, Toast’ems toaster pastries, corn snack Cruncheez, Magic Charm Marshmallows, Laffy Taffy, and soft drinks A&W Cream Soda and Root Beer.

Aldi has also listed Dino’s hotdogs and pickles on a ‘when it’s gone it’s gone’ basis for American Week.

Meanwhile, it has added limited-edition American-themed own-label lines, including breakfast cereals, burgers, soft drinks, crisps and seasonings.
