Della Vite – the prosecco brand founded by the Delevingne sisters – is to move into the ready-to-drink (RTD) category with the launch of a new collection of canned spritzes.
Launching via DTC and on Amazon on 10 July (rsp: from £20/8x200), the line up comprises Apertivo, Hugo, Sicilian Lemon and Bellini spritzes made from an Italian white wine base, alongside an alcohol-free tipple called Aperiti-No Spritz.
The expansion into canned cocktails would help Della Vite tap into “shifting consumer demand towards elevated convenience”, the brand said.
“Our new range of spritzes are inspired by the aperitivo culture we love when we’re in Italy, but made to be cracked open wherever and whenever,” said co-founder Cara Delevingne. “They’re fun, they’re bold and, just like our core range of proseccos, don’t need any fuss or formality. They taste amazing straight from the can, so all you need is a bit of sunshine and some great company, and you can aperitivo anywhere.”
A joint venture between sisters Chloe, Poppy and Cara Delevingne, Della Vite produces vegan-certified prosecco in the region of Valdobbiadene, Northern Italy.
The brand was founded in 2020 and is stocked in Sainsbury’s and on Ocado.
