
Castell Howell is to supply a selection of Welsh products that will be served at The Championships, Wimbledon this summer.
The dishes, which include a Welsh French Trimmed Rack of Lamb and Welsh Dressed Crab, will be crafted and showcased by Welsh chef Bryn Williams in partnership with Compass Group UK & Ireland.
The Welsh foodservice wholesaler described the collaboration as a “significant moment” for both the business and “the wider Welsh food and drink industry”.
“Having our products feature on the menu at a world renowned event like The Championships, Wimbledon is a tremendous honour for us,” said Castell Howell managing director Matt Lewis. “It showcases the exceptional quality, sustainability and heritage within the Welsh supply chain on one of the biggest stages.
“We are incredibly thankful to Compass Group UK & Ireland and chef Bryn Williams for the opportunity to work with them and to see our produce represented in this way.
