Cauldron Foods has launched its Cauldron Express tofu range.
The four-strong lineup promises “big flavour with zero fuss” and cooks in only five minutes.
The range includes marinated tofu pieces (rsp: £2.75/160g) in two variants: Teriyaki Marinated Tofu and Ginger & Garlic Marinated Tofu.
It also includes Grillabble Tofu which has been “built for heat” and is ready to grill, griddle or BBQ.
The Grillable range (rsp: £2.30/180g) comes in Oregano & Thyme and Smoky BBQ flavours.
“The new Cauldron Express range brings delicious punchy flavours, with a five-minute cook time and convenient pressed and dressed formats that address these barriers, giving consumers the tofu ‘ta-da’ moment they need,” said Lucy Grogut, marketing director at Cauldron Foods.
“We’ve used our signature plant alchemy to create bold, delicious products that remove the perceived ‘faff’ of tofu prep,” she added. “Giving consumers, and retailers, something genuinely new, exciting and distinctive in a competitive category.”
The full range is available in Tesco with the Teriyaki Marinated Tofu line also available in Waitrose this month.
