Non-alcoholic cider brand Chance Cider has sealed a retail debut with M&S.
Chance’s flagship namesake cider is to land over 300 of the retailer’s stores this week (rsp: £2.25 /330ml). It is made using 100% British cider apples at Aston Manor in Worcestershire. The cider is made at full strength before being “carefully reduced down” to create a “crisp, full flavour, non-alcoholic cider,” according to Chance.
“M&S has always been synonymous with those little moments of indulgence, and Chance fits perfectly into that,” said Chance founder John Logue. “Whether it’s paired with weekday picky bits, packed for a weekend adventure or simply enjoyed after a long day in the office, Chance offers another option for those choosing not to drink alcohol for every occasion.”
M&S beer and cider buyer Rob Grimes added: We’re thrilled to welcome Chance to our alcohol-free range from 23 September. It’s a brilliant example of an independent brand doing something genuinely exciting in the alcohol-free cider space, and a perfect fit as we continue to grow our low & no range.”
The milestone comes after Chance Cider kicked off a £1m fundraise to accelerate its expansion across the UK and overseas in June.
Chance Cider was founded by Logue, a former Lucky Saint and BrewDog marketing exec, in 2024.
Logue said at the time he wanted to emulate the success of Lucky Saint by becoming the UK’s number one dedicated non-alcoholic cider brand.
The brand is now stocked in over 1,000 distribution points including nationally with Prezzo Italian. It is also the bestselling British non-alcoholic cider on Amazon.
Non-alcoholic cider grew faster than beer in 2025, albeit from a much smaller base. Cider value sales were up 40.1% and volumes increased 43.5% last year, compared with 21.1% value growth for beer, The Grocer reported in March.
