Co-op Wholesale has appointed Robbie Moore from Bestway to lead its trading function.
Moore has been Bestway’s director of trading – convenience since March 2024 and has held a number of senior commercial roles at the wholesaler over the past three years.
Before joining Bestway, Moore also held senior roles at Spar Scotland and Costcutter, and spent almost a year as wholesale buying manager for Morrisons.
Joining Co-op Wholesale, he has been tasked with strengthening supplier partnerships, enhancing product and promotional offers, and driving sustainable growth.
“This role is about delivering real value to customers while building sustainable growth with our suppliers. I look forward to working with the team to drive innovation and execution across the wholesale channel,” said Moore.
Co-op Wholesale, formerly known as Nisa, last month confirmed plans to relaunch its Nisa symbol group with a new look and proposition. In October it confirmed the appointment of former Booker director Martin Swadling as its new customer director.
