Cold Chain sector slams government ‘deafness’ on Iran war threat to food industry

A letter sent by the Cold Chain Federation to Chancellor Rachel Reeves this week warned the cold chain sector was ‘uniquely exposed to rising fuel costs’
The Cold Chain Federation has slammed government “inaction” on the impact of the Middle East crisis and warned the lack of a “clear food resilience plan” poses a “real risk” to the UK’s national security.
