Dash has donated over 22,000 cans to independent convenience retailers across the UK, enabling them to support local charities and causes in their communities.
The initiative, valued at more than £28,000, would “allow retailers to give back to their communities and local charities, helping those who need it most”, said the soft drinks brand.
The selection of participating shops was made in conjunction with Dash, with retailers contributing ideas on how to best support their communities.
The cans were donated last month, with retailers sharing the initiative on their own social media channels to further amplify the impact of the campaign.
Selected retailers included Shop Around The Clock on Ashford Road in Kent, Londis Dagenham in Essex, and Nisa Local in Shrewsbury.
“Independent convenience retailers are the backbone of their communities, sponsoring local football teams, hosting events, and supporting customers throughout the year,” said Dash co-founder Jack Scott. “As we grow within this sector, we wanted to give back to these vital community hubs and help them make a difference at a local level.”
