The bars feature a ‘unique edible wafer paper’ to ‘eliminate sticky fingers’

Eat Natural is targeting families with a range of fruity snack bars, wrapped in an “edible wafer paper”.

Apple, Red Fruits and Peanut are described as “balanced and convenient” snacks suitable for adults and children.

Apple and Red Fruits (25g & 4x25g)  are coated in a “unique edible wafer paper”, designed to “eliminate sticky fingers, crumbs and mess”.

Each weighs in at under 90 calories per bar and is high in fibre, gluten-free and vegan.

Peanut (30g & 4x30g) does not have the wafer paper; it contains just two ingredients, peanuts and dates, providing fewer than 130 calories per bar.

All three variants have rolled into Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado and Amazon in singles and multipacks of four.

“With our Soft Fruit Bars, we wanted to offer families a convenient snack that was built around natural ingredients and a soft, satisfying texture,” said an Eat Natural spokeswoman.

“We also wanted to help solve real snacking challenges families face, such as the mess many bars can cause through crumbs or sticky fingers.

“By adding our innovative edible wafer paper, we’ve created a snack that works just as well on the go as it does at home for the whole family,” the spokeswoman added.

Eat Natural’s £1.1m gain last year was thanks to higher prices: volume sales of its cereal bars fell by 11% in the 52 w/e 6 September 2025, according to NIQ data.
