Emmi Caffè Latte has launched a Protein Chocolate Cappuccino line into Tesco.

The launch (rsp: £2.50/330ml) includes 7.8g of protein per 100ml, delivering a “creamy iced coffee that combines indulgent taste with functional benefits”.

It is made with hand-roasted arabica beans, fresh Swiss milk and protein concentrate rather than ultra-processed isolates.

It comes as the brand expands its presence in the retailer with its Emmi Caffè Latte Zero (rsp: £2.95/370ml) made available as part of Tesco’s meal deal from 11 May.

“Bringing Emmi Caffè Latte Zero into the Tesco meal deal is a significant step for the brand, allowing us to reach shoppers at scale with a no-added-sugar option that appeals to consumers looking for a healthier option,” said Emmi Caffè Latte senior brand manager Georgia Lightbody.

“At the same time, our new Emmi Caffè Latte Protein Chocolate Cappuccino taps into growing demand for functional, on-the-go formats.”

The developments will be backed by a campaign titled ‘Be ready’, designed to drive awareness and the brand’s clean-label credentials.

Alongside a return to TV, the campaign will be supported by digital, social media and shopper marketing. One initiative will see the brand’s van tour city centres, railway stations and sporting events.

“We’re focused on driving trial and reinforcing Emmi Caffè Latte as the go-to for an on-the-go refreshing energy boost throughout the day,” Lightbody added.
