Emmi Caffè Latte will be expanding its premium ready-to-drink portfolio with the launch of Emmi Caffè Latte Vanilla this month.
Available exclusively in Iceland from 14 September, the business said the new line (rsp: £2/230ml) combined “premium” arabica coffee, “fresh Swiss milk” and “smooth vanilla” made from “100% natural ingredients”.
With vanilla “one of the world’s most enduringly popular flavours”, Emmi Caffè Latte said there was opportunity for brands offering familiar flavours in “premium, convenient formats that deliver on both taste and quality”.
It also forms part of the business’ ongoing innovation strategy, which has continued to evolve with changing customer preferences, and follows innovations such as Emmi Caffè Latte Zero, Emmi Caffè Latte High Protein and Emmi Caffè Latte Creamy.
Georgia Lightbody, senior brand manager at Emmi Caffè Latte, said vanilla was a “natural addition” to its range.
“It’s a flavour with enduring appeal that pairs beautifully with coffee, while giving consumers something a little more indulgent to enjoy as part of their everyday routine,” she added.
“The result is a smooth, creamy vanilla coffee that delivers the premium café-inspired experience consumers expect from us, in a convenient ready-to-drink format.
“The launch also gives retailers an opportunity to bring newness and variety to the chilled coffee fixture, attracting shoppers looking for premium flavour experiences while building on the strength of the Emmi Caffè Latte brand.”
