Ferrero UK & Ireland has appointed Craig Barker as regional MD.
Barker has transitioned from his previous role as MD for Ferrero Asia Pacific, replacing Philippe Steyaert, who stepped into the role of chief business officer at Ferrero’s central Luxembourg office in September.
Barker brought a “wealth of experience” to the role, having spent 30 years working in the confectionery industry.
Prior to joining Ferrero in 2005, Barker spent 10 years at Mars, working across a variety of sales & marketing roles, predominantly focused on confectionery.
Barker has since held several senior roles across multiple markets during his 20-year career at Ferrero, also including stints as managing director for the Australia & New Zealand and North Asia businesses.
“I started my journey with Ferrero as a sales director in the UK 20 years ago and am pleased to be returning to the region at such a dynamic time,” said Barker.
“Ferrero UK & Ireland continues to grow with strong brands, product innovation and expansion into new categories.
“I look forward to working alongside the talented team to continue to bring joy to our customers with our iconic brands.”
Steyaert added: “I am confident that under Craig’s leadership, Ferrero UK & Ireland will continue to thrive and grow.
