
Filippo Berio has redesigned its balsamic vinegar range and added a mid-tier line.
The refreshed pack designs across its Everyday (rsp: £3.25/250ml), Organic (rsp: £3.99/250ml) and Signature (rsp: £9.99/250ml) balsamic vinegars feature flavour descriptions and serving suggestions, intended help shoppers quickly identify which product is best suited to their needs.
A “sweetness-to-sharpness taste scale” has also been added to the back of packs, aimed to help shoppers choose a product based on their taste preferences.
Filippo Berio has also added Ruby (rsp: £6/250ml), a mid-tier balsamic vinegar, and updated the packaging for its Fig, Classic and Truffle Glazes (rsp: £4/250ml).
The relaunch reflected Filippo Berio’s “ambition to inspire more people to cook confidently with premium vinegars by making the category easier to understand and more enjoyable to explore”, it said.
In February, the category-leading cooking oil brand poured its olive oils into squeezy bottles to lure the TikTok generation.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Classico and Chilli are available in the format, which offered “a modern, convenient, and delightfully precise way to enjoy the olive oil shoppers already love”, said the brand.
In April, Filippo Berio launched a major marketing campaign for its pesto range, spanning TV, print, digital and out-of-home.
