The reformulation, which like its previous iteration has only seven ingredients, has enhanced performance across cooking, baking and spreading, Flora says

Flora has announced the successful rollout of its improved Flora Plant recipe.

The reformulation, which like its previous iteration has only seven ingredients, has enhanced performance across cooking, baking and spreading, according to the brand.

It is also more spreadable straight from the fridge, has better heat control and more consistent results when baking, the brand added.

The range is available in salted block, unsalted block and spreadable tub format.

“At Flora, we know great cooking starts with ingredients you can trust,” said Ian Hepburn, marketing director, UK. “Our new Flora Plant recipe offers the indulgent taste people love, with even better performance in the kitchen – and it’s got a lower climate impact than dairy butter.

“We’ve created a product that delivers fantastic results, whether you’re baking a cake or melting into mash, all while meeting a wide range of dietary needs.”

The brand said Flora Plant has at least 75% less climate impact than dairy butter for blocks and 71% less for spreadable.

This is the latest development from the brand following the announcement of Gordon Ramsay as Flora brand ambassador and the launch of Flora Smoked Garlic, which is set to be rolled out to all supermarkets across the UK.
