
Ginsters has teamed up with hot sauce brand Frank’s RedHot to launch a limited-edition snack.
Buffalo Chicken Pocket with Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce (rsp: £1.30/100g) contains 100% British chicken and no additives, artificial colours or preservatives.
Available for one year, the NPD will hit Co-op’s front of store chillers on 23 March ahead of a wider rollout in April and May.
It was set to drive incremental growth for the category among under-35s, said Ginsters.
The Pockets format, which was introduced by Ginsters last March, had already recruited 810k new shoppers to the savoury pastry category, it said, citing Kantar data [52 w/e 1 January 2026].
“Ginsters Pockets have already started making waves in the front of store snacking space, and we’re confident this exciting new collaboration will make real impact and attract new, younger, savoury pastry shoppers into the category,” said Ginsters marketing manager Stephanie Allen.
This isn’t Ginsters’ first co-branded launch. Last March, it unveiled limited-edition Steak & Marmite with Cheese Pocket, which had brought over 60k new shoppers to the brand, it said, citing Kantar data [52 w/e 28 Dec 2025]
Also in March, it teamed up with Heinz to launch a co-branded Beanz & Cheese Slice.
