Both Flavours Landscape

Gordon’s’ Spritz Edition drinks have landed in Morrisons (rsp: £14/500ml)

Gordon’s has added two gin-based drinks, designed to be used in spritz-serve cocktails.

Spritz Edition (14.7% abv) has debuted in Strawberry & Passionfruit and Lime & Elderflower, both of which are intended to be served with prosecco for an “effortlessly simple serve”.

They are already in Morrisons (rsp: £14/500ml) and will roll out more widely over the coming weeks.

Spritz Edition will launch in the on-trade in the UK in 2026, with ambitions of a global rollout to follow.

“We experimented with dozens of different flavour combinations and recipes before landing on our two exciting variants,” said Emma Taylor, head of innovation commercialisation at Diageo GB.

“Gordon’s Spritz Edition is about giving people an opportunity to elevate their ordinary catch-ups without any of the barriers traditionally associated with cocktail-making,” Taylor added.

Gordon’s marketing director Charlotte Gibbon said this was the brand’s “first major innovation in several years”.

The leading gin brand sold 2.4 million fewer litres of its spirits, liqueurs and RTDs through the tills in the year to 19 April 2025, sending value plummeting by 9.5% to £336.0m [NIQ].

In February, Gordon’s brought out a limited-edition range for Premium Pink in collaboration with its long-standing brand partner Maya Jama.

The partnership saw it roll out special pack designs across its one-litre and 70cl formats, as well as its 0.0% Alcohol Free bottles and RTDs.
