Greggs is to trial two new pulled pork sandwiches in 20 shops across the north east in a bid to add more variety to its menu.
The food-to-go retailer will be launching a Pulled Pork Sandwich with Apple Sauce, which features crispy onions in a soft corn-topped roll, alongside a new BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with Slaw. Both will be available from £4.
Both menu items are available to order from the counter and are part of Greggs’ hot sandwich deal – which includes any hot sandwich or Southern Fried Potato Wedges with any cold drink from £5.50.
The sandwiches will be available via click & collect on the retailer’s app and via Just Eat and Uber Eats.
It comes as last month, Greggs reported a 7.4% rise in sales to £748m in the first 20 weeks of 2025, with like-for-like sales edging up by 2.9%.
The food-on-the-go giant noted that the positive trading was boosted by product innovation and the launch of its made-to-order range last year, which has now rolled out to over 300 shops nationwide.
