Higgidy has added a trio of new products to its autumn lineup.
The new products comprise Vintage Cheddar & Hot Maple Roasted Winter Veg Quiche, Extra Mature Cheddar & Spinach Mini Muffins, and Barber’s Vintage Cheddar, Potato & Leek Pie.
The quiche (rsp: £4.60/400g) combines Red Leicester and emmental cheeses with vintage cheddar for “an extra punch of cheesiness”. It is baked in Higgidy’s seeded shortcrust pastry made with Wildfarmed flour.
All of Higgidy’s pies are now made with Wildfarmed flour produced using regenerative farming techniques.
This includes its Barber’s Vintage Cheddar, Potato & Leek Pie (rsp: £3.75/200g) which is topped with emmental cheese, crispy onions and black onion seeds.
The new muffins (rsp: £3.50/130g), meanwhile, are savoury and bite-sized, made with extra mature cheddar cheese, spinach, grated carrot and butternut squash purée, high-protein cottage cheese, and a pinch of turmeric and chilli powder.
They provide 3.1g of fibre per portion and are a source of vitamins B2 and B12.
“We know shoppers are looking for healthier snacking options that help them achieve a balanced, nutrient-rich diet and our new-recipe Mini Muffins have been designed to help make hitting protein, fibre and vitamin goals even more delicious,” a Higgidy spokesperson said.
All three products will be available from 9 September in Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Ocado. The Mini Muffins will also be in Tesco.
Higgidy was the fastest‑growing brand in the savoury pastry category in 2025 with volumes up 20%, according to NIQ.
