The first Randox Health clinic was added to a Holland & Barrett store in June 2024

Holland & Barrett is expanding its partnership with Randox Health in a move it says will “transform” access to diagnostic health services in the UK.

There are currently Randox Health clinic concessions in 14 Holland & Barrett stores, under a partnership that began last year. H&B will now roll the proposition out to eight more.

Alongside the physical concessions, the pair confirmed they are “exploring how the partnership could evolve into a more joined-up proposition for the customer”.

While the retailers declined to give more detail of the plans – which remain “in development” – it would bring together Holland & Barrett’s health and wellness expertise with Randox’s advanced diagnostic capabilities “to create a seamless, end-to-end health experience”, the retailers said.

“This partnership strengthens our long-standing mission to make wellness easier, more personalised and more accessible for every customer,” said Anthony Houghton, group CEO at Holland & Barrett.

“By uniting Randox Health’s scientific excellence with our trusted retail experience and digital reach, we are building a future where everyone can move seamlessly from understanding their health to taking meaningful action to improve it.”

Since launching the first health clinic in June 2024, more than 10,000 health tests have been performed across the 14 stores. Each clinic offers a range of on-the-spot diagnostic health tests, with customers able to get same-day results in store.

Each test report is accompanied by a list of H&B product recommendations based on its results.

“Thanks to our partnership with Holland & Barrett we are able to expand access to affordable, proactive healthcare to more people than before,” said David Ferguson, COO at Randox Health.

“This combined with our revolutionary two-hour testing service means individuals can now identify potential imbalances in the body sooner and gain timely, actionable health insights, that help them make informed decisions without delay.”

It’s the latest addition to Holland & Barrett stores, as part of a nearly £100m store investment and expansion turnaround plan by owner LetterOne.
