Illegal tobacco in a quarter of Liverpool convenience stores

An undercover operation commissioned by JTI UK found 18 of the 72 shops visited between 30 January and 3 February this year were selling illegal tobacco.
One in four independent convenience stores in Liverpool were found selling illegal tobacco during a test-purchasing operation earlier this year.
