Low-sugar granola and snack bar challenger Keto Hana has refreshed its packaging as it looks to accelerate growth.

The makeover is intended to put Keto Hana’s key points of difference front and centre: ingredient transparency, no added sugar and low net carbs. The updated design also places the brand’s logo more prominently on pack to increase shelf standout.

The new look can be found now in Waitrose, Ocado, Holland & Barrett, Planet Organic and Whole Foods Market, as well as on Amazon and Keto Hana’s website.

The brand was established in 2017 because “you shouldn’t have to choose between eating well and eating something you actually love”, said founder Hana Mustafa. “The new branding is a reflection of that vision. It’s bold, it’s honest and it’s unmistakably us.”

The daughter of a baker, Mustafa began her business by developing her keto-friendly meals and snacks in her own kitchen. Her mission is to help consumers cut back on sugar without missing out. All Keto Hana products are grain-free, high in fibre and sweetened only with plant-based natural sweeteners.

Its low-sugar granola variants include Cinnamon, Wild Blueberry and Vanilla & Himalayan Salt – in 300g and 1kg packs. The brand’s snack bars are available in Peanut Butter & Chocolate Crunch, Raspberry & Coconut Crunch and Coconut & Almond Crunch. They provide 4.2g of sugar per 100g – making them markedly lower in sugar than similar bars from Kind, Nature Valley, Nakd and other larger rivals.
