The Supercharger Sub is making a ‘nostalgic comeback’, according to KFC

KFC is bringing back its Supercharger Sub for the first time since 2016, marking a “nostalgic comeback”.

Rolling out for four weeks, from today (18 May) to 14 June, the Supercharger Sub features two mini fillets, melted cheese, iceberg lettuce and Supercharger mayo in a toasted sesame roll.

Alongside this, the fried chicken giant is launching a Garlic Parmesan Sub, which swaps the Supercharger mayo sauce for a Garlic Parmesan sauce.

KFC is also rolling out Garlic Parm Loaded Fries, which are topped with Popcorn Chicken, a Garlic Parmesan sauce and crispy onions.

Over the four-week period, KFC will be offering the Supercharger Dipping Feast – a sharing spread featuring Mini Fillets, Dirty Loaded Fries and a variety of dips – from £26.99. Both the Supercharger Sub and Garlic Parmesan Sub are priced from £6.49, while the Garlic Parmesan Loaded Fries are available from £3.99.

It’s not the only food-to-go chain to have re-introduced former menu items as of late. Last week, burger brand Shake Shack brought back its Hot Honey menu for the first time since 2022 as it looked to tap into the trending flavour.

The Hot Honey menu, which features a chicken burger, chicken bites and fries, is available from 21 May to 6 July.
