KFC is set to launch a new range of Daredevil Zinger burgers and fries with a three-tier spice challenge.
Landing in restaurants nationwide for four weeks from 20 April to 17 May, the limited-edition menu will feature Hot, Hotter and Hottest spice levels.
The lineup includes the Daredevil Zinger Burger, built around KFC’s Zinger fillet and topped with cheese, sliced jalapeños, iceberg lettuce, and burger dressing in a new habanero bun.
Each burger is complete with a choice of spice, from Sweet Chilli to Supercharger or Sriracha Firecracker. Each burger is priced at £6.99, or at £8.49 for a Burger Meal, and £10.49 as a Box Meal.
Alongside this, the fried chicken chain is launching Daredevil Loaded Fries. Topped with popcorn chicken, sliced jalapeños, and Sweet Chilli and Zinger Ranch sauce, the fries will be priced at £3.99.
KFC said the launch came amid growing popularity for heat-based challenges across social media. It also follows the launch of rival chicken chain Wingstop’s limited-time Dragon’s Breath flavour last month, which combines “rich smokiness with subtle sweetness” to tap into the ‘swicy’ trend, blending sweet and spicy flavours.
