Kit Kat has added mini formats for its Chunky and two-finger chocolate wafer bars.
Chunky Mini 12-packs (£4.40/194g) offered “the same Chunky taste… but in a smaller size”, the brand said.
Meanwhile, Mini Mix (rsp: £4/197.4g) comprises an assortment of 14 mini two-finger Kit Kat bars, in milk chocolate, white, hazelnut, salted caramel and peanut butter.
Made using cocoa from Nestlé’s income accelerator programme, which aims to support cocoa farming families, both products have rolled into major retailers.
“We’ve taken our much-loved Kit Kat products and turned them into mini versions that can easily be shared with family and friends,” said Kit Kat marketing manager Stephanie Scales.
“Individually wrapped, this launch is about offering shoppers a bite of the delicious Kit Kat bars they know and love, in smaller, convenient portion sizes.”
Kit Kat shrunk its multipacks of 21 and nine bars to 18 and eight-packs in June to mitigate the impact of record high cocoa costs.
It came after owner Nestlé changed the packaging for Kit Kat Chunky White at the start of 2025, swapping out “white chocolate” for “white” on the front of pack, having removed cocoa butter from the recipe.
Also in June, Nestlé added limited-edition Kit Kat Chunky Funky (rsp: 89p/40g) – featuring a cocoa wafer, enrobed in a marbled milk chocolate and white coating – plus Kit Kat Chunky Salted Caramel Duo.
