Graham will take responsibility for leading the commercial organisation, strengthening customer partnerships and driving sustainable, profitable growth

Kraft Heinz has appointed Michael Graham as VP of sales for the UK & Ireland.

Effective March, Graham will join Kraft Heinz’s UK&I leadership team from his current role as Reckitt’s GM for Benelux.

Graham brings 20 years of senior commercial management experience in fmcg to the role, having also held leadership roles at PepsiCo and Mondelez.

At Kraft Heinz, Graham will take responsibility for leading the commercial organisation, strengthening customer partnerships and driving sustainable, profitable growth across the UK and Ireland.

“We’re delighted to welcome Michael to Kraft Heinz,” said Kraft Heinz UK&I MD Marta Pilczuk.

“His breadth of experience across markets, customers and categories, combined with his strong people leadership, will be a real asset to our UK & Ireland business.

“Michael’s appointment reinforces our focus on building world-class commercial capability and driving sustainable growth with our partners,” Pilczuk added.

Former Kellanova chief Steve Cahillane joined Kraft Heinz as group CEO in January.

Just six weeks into the job, Cahillane called off Kraft Heinz’s planned separation into two independent, publicly traded companies, telling investors the company’s opportunities were “larger than expected” and many of its challenges were “fixable and within [its] control”.

Cahillane instead announced a $600m (£440.5m) investment package in marketing, sales and R&D, alongside “product superiority and select pricing”, adding his top priority was “returning the business to profitable growth”.
