The launch delivers the ‘smooth, creamy flavour of one of Quality Street’s most recognisable sweets’ in a chilled format

Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK has announced the launch of the Quality Street Inspired by Toffee Penny Dessert in Tesco this month.

The launch (rsp: £2/ 2x65g) delivers the “smooth, creamy flavour of one of Quality Street’s most recognisable sweets” in a chilled format.

The brand said it would tap into consumer demand for “nostalgic favourites and seasonal indulgence” and that it would drive sales beyond the festive period.

It builds on the success of the company’s confectionery-inspired dessert range, including Aero, Rolo, Milkybar and Yorkie.

“Quality Street sweets are always a must-have during the Christmas period, and the Toffee Penny flavour is one of the most iconic in the range,” said Lisa Chevalier, brand manager at Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK.

“We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Quality Street Inspired by Toffee Penny Dessert in Tesco this October, giving shoppers an exciting new way to enjoy a Quality Street favourite in a format that’s perfect for the festive season and beyond.”
