Lindt & Sprüngli volumes hit as consumers steer clear of high prices

Lindt & Sprüngli has downgraded its growth expectations for the year as cash-strapped consumers across Europe steered clear of the brand’s chocolate over the summer

The Swiss chocolatier dropped guidance for organic sales growth from 4-6% to just 0-2% for 2026 as “high price sensitivity” among shoppers resulted in lower-than-expected volumes in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
