Non League Media has appointed MMC to handle the newstrade distribution of She Kicks ­ the Official FA monthly magazine for women's football ­ as part of its strategy to reposition the title. Launched as On the Ball, NLM recently acquired the title and re-named it She Kicks. Editor Jen O'Neill said: "We are re-positioning the title to appeal to the growing number of young girls who are taking up the sport in the UK." The August issue includes a round-up of the Women's Euro 2001 event, an interview with England star Becky Easton and a feature on how sports science is helping women footballers, plus a competition with prizes of a signed England shirt.
