M&S marketing titan Sharry Cramond will be taking to the stage for Retail Week x The Grocer LIVE, a one-day event in March next year showcasing what’s next for the retail and grocery industry.
Cramond was promoted to lead the retailer’s masterbrand marketing in June, as well as leading marketing efforts across fashion, home, beauty and international.
She is also director of loyalty at M&S. Prior to taking up the role, Cramond spent more than five years as marketing chief for M&S Food.
M&S was last week revealed to have clocked up more views of its Christmas advert on YouTube than any other supermarket, according to data shared with The Grocer by the video platform.
It’s hit 220.2 million views of its various Christmas campaign videos on YouTube, close to three times as many video views than the second-highest-reach supermarket Waitrose (75.7 million views).

The retailer has become a powerhouse on TikTok too. As well as an official account (boasting 256,000 followers), M&S extends its reach through individual store accounts. The retailer has more than 200 active TikTok profiles.
Cramond will be sharing the secrets of M&S marketing success, and revealing her plans for its future.
Retail Week x The Grocer LIVE takes place on Tuesday 3 March at London’s Business Design Centre. The full programme showcases the latest developments across technology, digital and customer innovation.
The event will feature a keynote session from Asda boss Allan Leighton and a fireside chat with Morrisons CEO Rami Baitiéh. Other talks lined up for the event include a focus on cyber-resilience and mitigating risk from GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre, as well as speakers from YouGov, Holland & Barrett and the Co-op.
Offering a bold vision of what’s in store for the sector, attendees will be able to explore the future of retail through the lenses of innovation and transformation, helping retailers anticipate and adapt to emerging trends including tech disruption, shifting consumer behaviour and changing global economics.
With a programme carefully curated to cover every aspect of retail and grocery innovation, next year’s event will also feature a series of interactive workshops featuring real-world case studies.
