PlayStation Max magazine from Future Publishing is being relaunched from the September 26 issue.
The pagination is increasing from 68 to 100, and the title will be aimed at a slightly older audience 13 to 15-year-olds rather than 10 to 12-year-olds.
PS2 content will become an integral part of the magazine, rather than a separate section, and there will be extended PSone tips coverage. Each issue will include a free A1 double-sided poster and be covermounted with a free gift.
Editor of PlayStation Max magazine, Andy Dyer, said: "With the launch of several next generation consoles, the games market is moving into an exciting new phase. The PlayStation market is growing up following the launch of PS2, and PlayStation Max is growing up with it. The new-look Max offers wider games coverage, is bigger and brasher, and gives readers expert buying advice plus tips to help them get the best out of the games they already own."
Cover price is £2.50 and distribution is by Seymour.
