Beef Pythouse Roast Box

Recipe box brand Mindful Chef has launched a £80 roast dinner for four meal kit with Michelin Green Star restaurant Pythouse Kitchen Garden.

The Grass-fed Aberdeen Angus Beef Sirloin box comes with grass-fed beef served alongside potatoes, skin-on rainbow carrots, roasted cavolo nero, candied beetroot and a kale salad, finished with a bone broth-based beef sauce.

It is one of three seasonal roast boxes resulting from the partnership, alongside a Norfolk Black Chicken roast kit (£65), which uses “the same rare-breed chicken served to King Charles III at a state banquet at Windsor Castle in 2025” and vegetarian option Tenderstem, Artichoke & Cheddar Gratin (£50).

“Sunday roast is all about bringing people together and making the most of what’s in season,” said Darren Broom, head chef at Pythouse Kitchen Garden. “At Pythouse, we’re fortunate to have our kitchen garden right on our doorstep, so we can work closely with the seasons and let the quality of the produce lead the cooking.”

“This collaboration with Mindful Chef brings that same approach into people’s homes, making it possible to enjoy a really special roast with top-quality British ingredients, without taking away from the time spent around the table,” Broom added.

The Mindful Chef x Pythouse Kitchen Garden Seasonal Roast Box is available to order from mindfulchef.com, with deliveries on Fridays in October only. Ingredients arrive pre-portioned and ready to prepare.

“We’ve created a roast that feels genuinely special, but is still achievable at home,” said Jesse Kempner, head chef at Mindful Chef, “from a rare-breed Norfolk Black chicken with royal credentials to beautifully seasonal, heritage vegetables.”

“It’s about taking away the stress of Sunday lunch and giving people more time to enjoy the food, and each other,” she added.
