Morrisons head of property David Scott has left the retailer to pursue “new opportunities” after eight years in the role.
It comes as Morrisons said it was reviewing the resourcing of its property team at its Bradford HQ.
Scott paid tribute to Morrisons CEO Rami Baitiéh, saying he was sure he would lead the supermarket “from strength to strength”.
Recent months have seen Morrisons look to expand its convenience operation as part of its property mix.
It included the opening of 42 new Morrisons Daily franchise stores, taking the total to more than 1,700.
“During my time at Morrisons, I’ve worked on many transformational projects, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together as a team,” Scott said on LinkedIn.
“I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic, customer-focused business.”
A Morrisons spokesman said: “We can confirm David Scott has left the business – he made a valuable contribution to Morrisons over the last eight years and we wish him all the best.
“We’re currently reviewing options for the future resourcing of our property team.”
