Napolina has added three new “flavour-boosting” tomato pureés to its lineup.
Tuscan Red Wine, Chilli & Garlic, and Herbs & Garlic have landed in Asda and Tesco (rsp: £1.75/130g). They will roll into Morrisons stores next month.
The pureés combined “iconic Italian flavours into one convenient product, delivering a boost of enhanced flavour with a simple squeeze”, said Napolina.
Tuscan Red Wine, redefined “a household staple” by “blending the richness of tomato purée with the famous, indulgent depth of Tuscan red wine”, the brand claimed.
Meanwhile, Chilli & Garlic delivered “a fiery kick perfect for spicy Italian classics like Arrabbiata and Puttanesca”.
Rounding out the range, Herbs & Garlic was “a fragrant, ready-made blend of herbs” that helped simplify “the creation of dishes like seafood marinara or hearty casseroles”.
“At Napolina, we’re committed to category leadership by continuously innovating and responding to consumer needs,” said Jeremy Gibson, marketing director at Napolina owner Princes Group. “Our new flavour-boosting pureés represent a step-change in the tomato purée market.
“Combining the authenticity of Italian flavours with the simplicity of ready-to-use purées, we’re making it easier than ever for consumers to create standout dishes at home.
“This launch not only elevates our portfolio but also offers retailers the potential to grow the category with a differentiated and premium proposition.”
