Administrative receivers have been appointed to Yorkshire supplier Naylor Food.
Based in Leeds and Knaresborough, the group employs 79 people through its six companies which have a combined turnover of £25m.
The receivers said the companies would continue to trade while they seek to sell off the business. Activity at the four Leeds based sites has been scaled down. The Sea and Harvest division has already been sold.
Prior to the receivers being called in Naylor Food had experienced intense competition within the distribution sector and suffered increased costs.
