Nestlé has added “bakery-inspired” variants to its Aero, Milkybar and Munchies brands.
Aero Double Choc Brownie Melts 86, Milkybar Crispy Cookie buttons 86g and Munchies Vanilla Cheesecake 97g will hit retailers this month in sharing pouches (rsp: £2.15).
Aero Double Choc Brownie Melts combine white and milk chocolate treats; Milkybar Crispy Cookie buttons are white chocolate, with cocoa biscuit pieces; and Munchies Vanilla Cheesecake are milk chocolate pieces, with a “creamy vanilla” and “crunchy biscuit” centre.
“The team at Nestlé Confectionery has had a fantastic time experimenting with many bakery-inspired treats in our test kitchen this year,” said Nestlé UK & Ireland brand manager Michael Kehoe.
“We’ve selected these three final flavours and brought them to life on some of the nation’s favourite confectionery brands, which we feel really capture the indulgent spirit of tasty baked goods,” Kehoe added.
Nestlé has also added Milkybar Chocolate Crumble sharing block 84g, featuring a “creamy” vanilla flavoured filling with biscuit pieces, on a milk chocolate base.
This latest spate of launches come after Nestlé unveiled a quartet of confectionery sharing bags inspired by popular ice cream flavours in February 2024.
The range comprised: Aero Neapolitan 86g, Munchies Cookie Dough 97g, Milkybar Raspberry Ripple 86g (all rsps: £1.85) and Rowntree’s Randoms Cones 120g (rsp: £1.75).
