Matthew Gribbin, an executive director at Northern Foods, has left the company.
Gribbin joined Northern Foods in 1981 and was most recently group strategy and portfolio director. In 2003 he joined the board of directors.
He was also chairman of the company’s principal pension fund and is a council member for the Federation of Bakers.
A spokeswoman for
Northern Foods said that Gribbin was considering a number of career options. He will not be directly replaced because his responsibilities are to be shared between Northern Foods’ CEO Pat O’Driscoll and chief financial officer Jez Maiden.
