Online marketplaces to collect VAT on UK sellers

Amazon, Ebay, Joybuy and other online marketplaces will be responsible for collecting value added tax (VAT) owed by sellers on their platforms, British finance minister John Healey announced in the budget today
The revenue raised will be used to fund an extra 20% reduction in business rates for pubs, music venues and social clubs.
