Among the launches is a new Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables, as well as larger formats of its Blueberries, Summer Berries and Petit Pois

Pack’d has expanded its frozen fruit & veg range with four additional lines.

Among the launches is a new Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables (rsp: £4.80/450g), as well as larger formats of its Blueberries (rsp: £10.50/750g), Summer Berries (rsp: £11/750g) and Petit Pois (£4.80/900g).

The Mediterranean Vegetables line contains courgettes, aubergine and peppers, which are frozen at source to maximise freshness and flavour.

The brand said the mix offered “ultimate convenience, allowing consumers to easily incorporate the pack into a variety of dishes for added nutrition”.

Its Blueberries, Summer Berries and Petit Pois lines are currently available in 300g and 450g packs. The larger options are designed to offer “added convenience for those heavy users and of course greater value for money”.

“At Pack’d, we are firm believers that frozen is vital to the future of how we eat,” said Katy Hamblin, director of marketing at Pack’d. “Freezing produce at the point of harvest not only reduces food waste, but also preserves the nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants that are naturally present when fruit & vegetables are freshly picked, while also helping consumers make better use of the food they buy.

“These latest launches are another step towards making frozen food an easy and appealing choice for more modern eating habits, demonstrating our commitment to bringing more consumers on board our frozen journey.”

The range will launch online with Ocado from 1 December.
