Graham Jagger is to be general manager of Parfetts’ new £6m cash and carry depot in Sheffield (see news, p4).
The depot, which is due to open in the last quarter of this year, will create 70 new jobs.
The facility will be Parfetts’ sixth depot and represents the biggest capital expenditure it has ever made. Jagger has been a general manager with Parfetts for 13 years, managing its Anfield and Somercotes depots. “He is no stranger to launching our concept, having been at Somercotes since its acquisition in 1994,” the company said.
Jagger will be joined at Sheffield by deputy manager David Grimes and senior buyer Bob Redmile. “Both have immense experience in the sector,” the company said.
Iain Bell will become general manager of Somercotes.
