The £7 lunch deal will include an artisan sandwich or salad plus a beignet and a drink

Paul Bakery UK is launching breakfast and lunch meal deals across its stores in London, Reading and Oxford.

The new £5 Baker’s Breakfast offer features a large hot drink with a pastry, including a plain croissant, almond croissant, pain au chocolat, or almond pain au chocolat. It will be available every Monday to Friday from store opening until 10am.

Meanwhile, the £7 lunch deal will include an artisan sandwich or salad plus a beignet and a drink, available daily from 11am to close.

Sandwiches featured in the offer include the Pavot Poulet on poppyseed bread with chicken, tomato, mustard, mayonnaise and lettuce; the Mixte with ham and emmenthal; Tomate Mozzarella on olive bread; and the Dieppois with tuna mayonnaise, tomato, cucumber and lettuce.

Salads include tuna niçoise, goats cheese and fire-roasted red pepper, or a grilled chicken fermière, while customers can choose any tea or coffee as the drink, including chai and matcha lattes.

It follows the launch of Greggs’ three-part breakfast meal deal last month, which saw the food-to-go retailer adding a side to its current offer for the first time. Greggs customers will now have the option to add a fresh fruit pot, yoghurt or hash browns to the Breakfast Roll Deal and Breakfast Baguette Deal.
