Diet guru Rosemary Conley is pushing her healthy-eating message by endorsing ready-to-eat porridge pots. They have been developed by Highgrove Food Distribution to target the growing number of consumers who want healthy, wholesome food that can aid weight loss.
Highgrove has previously launched two mousse desserts under the Rosemary Conley brand, and this latest chilled product comes in microwaveable bowls.
“Consumers understand Rosemary’s simple, balanced approach to healthy eating,” said MD Keith Collins. “We identified an opportunity for an added-value porridge line that will offer the same wholesome benefits as traditional porridge oats, but with the convenience of a ready-to-go chilled pack.”
The products will highlight porridge’s cholesterol-lowering, low-fat, high-fibre, low-GI credentials, with the focus on slow-release energy.
Rosemary Conley’s Porridge Pots are initially available exclusively through Asda at £1.69 for a twin-pack.
