Pricecheck Brand Partners has expanded its logistical capabilities with a new 20,000 sq ft warehouse in Sheffield following a period of “rapid growth”.

The new facility, located in Beighton, sits directly across from the wholesaler’s headquarters at Old Colliery Way. Half a dozen staff will be hired to work at the warehouse, with plans for this number to grow.

The expansion, which will allow for additional capacity to meet “surging demand”, will also be bolstered by the addition of a 13,000 sq ft temporary structure at the company’s Rotherham site, expected to open in April.

Together, these developments, alongside its three warehouses in Sheffield and Rotherham, will bring the wholesaler’s total operational footprint to over 40,000 sq ft across its South Yorkshire sites.

To further manage the increasing volume of trade, Pricecheck’s Rotherham warehouse is now open on weekends.

The investment in its operational footprint comes as Pricecheck recorded an annual turnover of £179m for the 2024/25 financial year, marking its 11th consecutive year of growth.

The extra space will support the company’s ‘Vision 200’ goal, a five-year strategic plan to double the size of the business and reach a £200m turnover by the end of the 2025/26 financial year.

“Our rapid growth has been incredibly exciting, but it has also brought challenges,” said Pricecheck operations director Mark Amos. “This new warehouse, as well as our Rotherham site being open seven days a week, are vital steps in ensuring we have the infrastructure and capacity to meet the huge demand from our partners and retailers.

“As we continue our evolution from a traditional wholesaler into a brand distributor, we are constantly looking for ways to build on our recent successes. This expansion provides the foundation we need to meet the needs of our growing list of brand partners, hit our targets, and lay the foundations for us to reach even greater heights.”
